Brothers, and now friends!

As Luke gets older, Jack is really beginning to take an interest in playing with him. Jack loves to help me bathe, change, dress, feed, and even read to Luke. We have a few sets of Bright Baby books that Jack loves to read to Luke --- no surpise to those who know Jack since he is such a book worm!

It's so fun for Jordan and me to watch the two of them interact. We love the fact that our childern enjoy each other's company.

Here are some random pictures of the boys.

My boys!

It's 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Jack woke me when I heard his door slam and then as I heard him totter into our bedroom. He told me he was thirsty and needed a drink. I carried him back to his bed and went downstairs to get him some water. When I came back to his room, he was almost back to sleep and didn't care much about a drink anymore. I kissed him and left his room. And now, here I am, not sleepy and unable to get back to sleep.

As I was laying in bed, I was overwhelmed with thoughts of my three boys - Jordan, Jack, and Luke. I couldn't be more blessed! I have an amazing husband/daddy who loves and provides for his family. I have two awesome little boys. Jack, who is now 2 and so much fun, and Luke who is 7 months and couldn't be sweeter.

Jack makes me laugh every day. He is full of energy and is always ready to play or read books. He is so much like Jordan. Whenver I look at Jack, I feel like I am looking back in time to what Jordan must have been like as a two year old boy!

Luke is such a sweet baby. He is very happy most of the time and loves to smile. He is really beginning to develop his own little personality and it's so fun to see/imagine what he will be like when he's Jack's age. He is sitting up now, scoots around the room on his tummy, and rolls all over the place. He isn't crawling yet, but I'm sure that won't be too far off.

Being a mom is full of unpredictable moments, during the day and at night:) But I sure am glad Jack woke me tonight because it gave me a chance to reflect on the blessings that God has given me -- Jordan, Jack & Luke.

Pictures of Luke

Luke turned four months last Monday. We went to his four month appointment on Thursday, and he weighs 15 lbs. 9 oz. The doctor said that he looks great, and that he is doing everything that a four month old should be.

I snapped a few shots of him last Monday. He is so cute!

Jack & Luke

Jack and Luke are having a great summer so far. We have been busy playing outside, and meeting our new neighbors. Last week we went for a visit to South Carolina to see the grandma's and grandpa's. We had a great time.

Luke will be four months next Monday! I can't believe how fast he's growing. He is doing really well. I think we have gotten his reflux under control with the medicine he is now taking. He is now taking great naps, and is starting to like his car seat again.

Jack is so busy these days. He is talking more and more each day. Every day he has a new sentence or phrase for us. We bought him a Little Tykes train set. He loves to play with it and say, "All aboard!" He also loves to read. We have been taking weekly trips to Barnes and Noble, which he loves!

Here are a few pictures of the boys.

We're back!

It's been over two months since my last post, so there's a lot to catch up on. April was a hectic month with Jordan finishing up classes, taking finals, packing up our apartment, and saying good bye to our friends.

Jack was sad to say good bye to his little friends. He has made two great friends over the past two years that I know he will miss. Since Jack wouldn't be seeing Max or Tate on his birthday we decided to have an early birthday party for him. The party was a Curious George theme. I bought Curious George toys, books, balloons, bubbles, and much more!! :) Jack had a great time!

Jordan finished his last class April 29!!! Jordan and his dad drove the moving truck from Boston to Atlanta, pulling Jordan's car, while the boys and I headed to SC on an airplane:)

May was an even busier month for us. Jack turned two May 10, so we celebrated his birthday in SC with both sides of our family. We began the day with blueberry pancakes (our little tradition) and then headed to Chucke Cheeses with a few of his cousins. Later that day Jordan's parents had the whole family and a few friends over to celebrate with cake and presents. My mom made Jack a Curious George cake, which Jack absolutely loved since he loves watching and reading George. His birthday was a lot of fun.

After Jack's birthday and Mother's Day, we headed to Atlanta to start unpacking our boxes and getting settled into our house. We had quite a bit of work done on the house, and we worked late every night for three weeks to get the painting and packing done before Jordan started work. We pretty much have everything done now except for some final touches. The house looks great now, and we are so glad to be settled.

Jordan graduated from HBS June 5. We flew back to Boston for the graduation and a few other festivities. It was so exciting to see Jordan graduate. We have spent the last two years in Boston and now it's over. HBS was a great experience, and we are so glad that Jack and Luke were able to experience it with us. Jordan was even able to carry both of the boys across the stage when he received his diploma. It made me so proud to see my husband and two boys up there.

We flew back to Atlanta the day after graduation and Jordan began his first day of work June 9.

I guess we are back in reality now that Jordan is working and I am home alone with the boys. I think it may take Jack a few weeks to realize that daddy will no longer be around the house during the day:) Since Jack was three months old Jordan has been in school, so Jack doesn't know life without dad around almost as much as mom. ha ha

Luke is growing and is getting cuter every day. He is such a sweet baby, and he is already a mamma's boy:) He loves for me to be holding him all the time. He has acid reflux, so I think that he just likes to always be in an upright position. He is sleeping anywhere from 9 to 12 hour chunks at night which is so great!!! He hasn't been the greatest napper since we moved, but I would take him sleeping all night any day over being the best napper.

Jack loves playing in his new backyard. He has all sorts of things to keep him busy this summer. He especially loves to help Jordan mow the lawn. Jack has also been able to spend some time in Beaufort with Jordan's parents and some of my family. He loves being with our family!

We are all doing really well. We love living in Atlanta, and we think we have found a church home, so we are excited about that. I will try to keep you updated more often.
