Fall is here!

The past few days have been beautiful! The weather and the fall breeze have been wonderful. The boys have been taking advantage of the great weather by spending a lot of time outdoors. Lets hope the cool weather is here to stay!

The countdown has begun!

I woke up early this morning because I am really starting to be uncomfortable at night now. I guess with only 5 1/2 weeks ago, I may also be a little restless from thinking about how things are about to change again.
I know those sleepless nights are just around the corner, but in some ways I am looking forward to rocking this little baby in the wee hours when everyone else is fast asleep. Those late night feedings have never really bothered me. I guess they haven't because I have always used that time to pray for my family. It's amazing how much and how long I can pray for in the middle of the night:-)
I know there will be tough days and nights ahead, but I am praying that the Lord will give me a positive attitude through it all. I really want to enjoy our children while they are young. I want to have fond memories for the future.
I am so excited to see the boys' reaction when we bring this baby home. Jack is so excited. Every day he talks about the new baby and kisses my growing belly. He tells us that he is going to be so sweet to the new baby. He says he can't wait to share his toys and snacks with the baby:-) It will be fun!
The above picture is of Luke when he was about 1 1/2 months old. Luke has always been our snuggler!

Pudding time!

Yesterday I made two batches of pudding, brought it outside, and let the boys paint eachother:-) I think there was more eating than painting going on, but they had a blast.

I miss her so!

My dear sister-in-law, GraceAnna Castleberry, recently got married to a wonderful man. For the past few months we have had the opportunity to spend a lot of time together. She was able to visit us in Atlanta several times, a few of those times she came to watch Jack and Luke while Jordan and I were out of town.
Our boys absolutely love GraceAnna. Jordan and I always talk about how we wish we could find another GraceAnna in Atlanta to babysit as needed. We love when she has spent time with the boys because they always having fun and learning new things every day. She will be an amazing mother one day!
GraceAnna and I have always had a great relationship, but it has only deepened in the past few years. She is the most encouraging person I know. She is always spurring others on to walk with the Lord. She has one of the most solid walks with the Lord that I have seen. Being around her is so encouraging!
Now that she is married, which by the way we are very excited about, I will not be able to see her as often. Grant and GraceAnna will be moving to Japan the beginning of November and will not be returning to the U.S. until next summer. We will be anticipating their return and seeing where God places them.
Thank you, GraceAnna. Thank you for being a woman who first and foremost loves the Lord. Thank you for being so genuine, and for loving all people for who God has made them to be. Thank you for the time we have spent together this summer, and for the time and energy you have invested in our boys. We love you and will miss you greatly.
