And then there were three.....

We were able to meet Lois Broggi (Jack and Luke's first Broggi cousin) last week in SC while we were all together for GraceAnna'a wedding. It was very fun to see Jack and Luke's reactions to having a baby around:-)
Jack was a typical older child like you'd expect. He wanted to help Chesed with everything, and he really wanted to play with her. He was great. Watching him with a baby makes me excited to have our third at the end of October.
And Luke acted just as I suspected. If Lois was being held, he wanted to be held. If the attention was on Lois, he would try his best to get it back on him:-) Luke has always been our "hold me" baby, so I think it threw him for a loop when there was someone smaller than him around. Although Luke wanted to be doing everything Lois was, he was still gentle and sweet towards her, which I am grateful for. He will also be a great older brother, but just in a different way than Jack, which is alright.
Seeing the three of them together reminded me of how God makes each and every person so different. Jack and Luke are brothers, made from the same parents, but are completely different. I'm glad they're not the same because life would be boring if we were all the same:-)
It was fun to meet little Lois, and we look forward to seeing her again!

The picture to go with the story below...

Jack's first tuxedo!

Jordan's sister is getting married next weekend and Jack has been asked to be the ring bearer. He has been so excited about the whole thing. From walking down the aisle to carrying three rings - one for Grant, one for GraceAnna, and one for Jack - to wearing a tuxedo, the entire event has been so exciting for him! Almost every day, he sits on the couch, pulls out my journal and informs me that he is working on wedding stuff!

The other night Jordan ordered his tuxedo, and Jack has been anxiously awaiting its arrival. Well, it finally arrived to our house yesterday afternoon. When Jack woke from his nap the tuxedo was waiting for him downstairs. He quickly began to undress and asked me to help him get his new tuxedo on. When everything was on, Jack looked in the mirror and cracked a huge grin. He didn't have to say a word because his face said it all, he was thrilled!
