An update on Jack!!

Jack took his first steps Monday, April 9. For the first week he was taking steps all around, but for some reason he's regressing back to crawling:) He will take some steps back and forth to Jordan and me, but that's about it. Hopefully, he will just take off walking sometime soon, but we're not going to rush it! It will happen when he's ready.

He has also been busy rolling his ball around, and loves to say, "ball" constantly. He also loves for us to read to him. He has about six books that he loves to listen to. We try to introduce new ones occasionally, but he's pretty stuck on his favorites:) He also loves to go to the park and swing!

Jack will turn one May 10! Jordan and I will be in Chicago for my brother's wedding, so we are going to have a party for him this Saturday. We will also be celebrating with our family and friends in SC at the end of the month.

Jordan finishes up school May 23. After his last exam, we will be headed south for the summer. We will spend three weeks in Beaufort before heading to Atlanta for Jordan's internship. We will be in Atlanta for ten weeks. We are excited about being close to family and friends this summer!

Recent Pictures of Jack

Well, it's been a while since I last posted some pictures of our baby Jack. Actually our baby is going to be one May 10!! We can't believe how much he's grown, and that we have had him in our lives for almost a year. It's been the greatest year of our lives!!

Jack seems like he is about to walk, but I guess we can't really tell how ready he actually is. He stands on his own now, which is the first step towards walking!!! He loves for us to read to him now. His favorite book is Go Dog, Go!

I have posted some pictures from our time in Florida last month. We took Jack to the beach and he loved it. He crawled all around, and loved to chew on the shells:)

An update on Jack

Jack turned nine months on Saturday, February 10. It is so hard to believe that it has already been nine months since he was born. Time has flown by, and Jack has grown so much.

Jack had his nine month check up Monday. He weighs 22 lbs. 10.4 oz. and he is 30 1/4 in. long. The doctor said that he is a healthy and thriving baby. His height is in the 95th percentile and his weight is in the 70th percentile. Thankfully, his height is in a larger percentile than his weight:)

Last weekend we had a surprise trip to Beaufort. Jordan had an interview in Atlanta, so we decided to surprise our families in Beaufort for the weekend. Unfortunately, neither of our dad's were there, but we had a great time with the rest of our family. And, Jordan got the job with Bain:)

Jack is busy crawling around the house these days. He loves to crawl under the furniture, but sometimes he gets stuck:) He is also pulling himself up in his crib and on the furniture. He loves to help mommy load and unload the dishwasher:) He also loves taking baths. He has so much fun playing with his bath tub toys. He is such a happy little guy. He loves to laugh and smile all the time. He also loves when daddy reads him books before going to bed.
