Curious George Comes To The Children's Museum

We have a family membership to Atlanta's Children's Museum, Imagine It. Because of the membership, we go often. Every few months the museum puts out a new exhibit, and for the next three months it happens to be Curious George.
Jack has been a huge fan of Curious George since he was 18 months old. Luke is starting to like him more, but is still not really into any particular character.
We went yesterday to see the new exhibit and Jack had a blast. He was so excited to get a picture next to George, which I have included. There were all sorts of stations set up that made Jack very excited. It was fun to watch him see a scene and associate it with the book we have read. It was like he remembered every George book we have ever read, which by the way is a lot:-)
I didn't get the greatest pictures, but I will attach the few that I have.

One Last Vacation before baby #3!

Last weekend we were able to get together with Jordan's entire family for a short vacation. It was so much fun visiting with everyone and seeing Jack and Luke interact with their cousin Lois. We mainly hung out, ate a lot, and went for a short shopping trip one afternoon. It was a great time with everyone!

Fall is here!

The past few days have been beautiful! The weather and the fall breeze have been wonderful. The boys have been taking advantage of the great weather by spending a lot of time outdoors. Lets hope the cool weather is here to stay!

The countdown has begun!

I woke up early this morning because I am really starting to be uncomfortable at night now. I guess with only 5 1/2 weeks ago, I may also be a little restless from thinking about how things are about to change again.
I know those sleepless nights are just around the corner, but in some ways I am looking forward to rocking this little baby in the wee hours when everyone else is fast asleep. Those late night feedings have never really bothered me. I guess they haven't because I have always used that time to pray for my family. It's amazing how much and how long I can pray for in the middle of the night:-)
I know there will be tough days and nights ahead, but I am praying that the Lord will give me a positive attitude through it all. I really want to enjoy our children while they are young. I want to have fond memories for the future.
I am so excited to see the boys' reaction when we bring this baby home. Jack is so excited. Every day he talks about the new baby and kisses my growing belly. He tells us that he is going to be so sweet to the new baby. He says he can't wait to share his toys and snacks with the baby:-) It will be fun!
The above picture is of Luke when he was about 1 1/2 months old. Luke has always been our snuggler!

Pudding time!

Yesterday I made two batches of pudding, brought it outside, and let the boys paint eachother:-) I think there was more eating than painting going on, but they had a blast.
