Feeling Thankful......

As I turned 28 yesterday, I was amazed at all God has blessed me with! God has saved me from my sins so that I can spend eternity with Him in heaven. He has blessed me with the most wonderful man, Jordan, as my husband. He has given me three wonderful children: Jack, Luke, and Claire.

He has given me an amazing extended family. A family who loves the Lord. A family who cares about the things that will count for eternity. A family who is wonderful, loving, and best of all, fun to be around.

He has given me an awesome church home. A church that teaches from the Bible, even when it's not popular. A church that loves children, and strives to teach them the love of Jesus and their need for a Savior. A church that cares about its members, and builds into the lives of each one. I love our church, and I am so thankful for the leadership!

He has given me wonderful friendships. Friendships of all kinds. Close friends. Neighbor friends. Friends to pray for. Friends who listen. Friends who I have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with. And friends to simply enjoy and have a good time with.

God is so good to those who love Him. This doesn't mean that my life is perfect, or that things always turn out how I would have chosen; but, it does mean that as long as I am living at the center of God's will, He will guide me through the good and the bad. I know that I have a Savior who cares about all the details of my life. And for this I am so thankful.

It is my prayer that I will spend each day honoring the Lord. I want to bring Him glory. I want our family to bring honor to His name.

Thank you, Lord, for the life You have blessed me with!

"Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry." Colossians 3:1-5
